The best that we can trace, the McCallum’s of this page had their beginnings in Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland. Later, they began another life in the USA within Rountree Township, Montgomery County, Illinois. Six generations of this McCallum family have lived/farmed in Rountree Township since that beginning over 150 years ago.
